The North Island Wildlife Recovery Association was formed in l985 “to partner with the citizens of Vancouver Island to establish a facility for the care of ill, injured and orphaned wildlife and to educate the public on wildlife and environmental issues.” We are a non-profit organization that cares for the well-being of Vancouver Island wildlife and strives to educate the public. Programs include rehabilitation of Vancouver Island wildlife specifically raptors and black bear.
WildARC (Animal Recovery Centre), Victoria Rehabilitate raptors, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and migratory birds. This is the wildlife arm of the SPCA in Victoria.
